About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Lead to lead our referral, loyalty, and retention programs. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing strategies that drive repeat purchases, increase customer lifetime value, and build brand advocacy.
We are looking for a data-driven and customer-focused individual to strengthen our lifecycle marketing efforts and foster long-term customer relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in CRM, email marketing, automation, and customer segmentation.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage referral, loyalty, and retention programs to enhance customer engagement & maximize referrals from our community
- Create & manage data-driven lifecycle marketing campaigns, including onboarding, retention, and win-back strategies
- Analyze customer behaviour, segmentation, and churn trends to refine marketing approaches
- Implement and optimize email, SMS, and push notification campaigns for stronger customer connections
- Test and optimize messaging, incentives, and engagement tactics to improve key performance metrics
- Collaborate with product, sales, and customer service teams to align loyalty initiatives
- Manage CRM tools and marketing automation platforms to execute and track lifecycle marketing efforts
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies & strategies, and best practices in customer retention and loyalty marketing
Desired Experience
- Proven experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or customer engagement roles, ideally having worked within the grocery, food and beverage, CPG or ecommerce industry
- Strong understanding of referral and loyalty programs, retention strategies, and customer segmentation
- Proficiency in CRM tools, marketing automation, referral & loyalty platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Braze, Referral Candy)
- High level of creativity with an experimentation mindset, balanced by data-driven decision making and a strong technical background
- Experience with A/B testing, performance analytics, and reporting
- Strong copywriting and communication skills to craft compelling customer messaging
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, learn quickly, take risks, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities
- Understanding of the grocery industry, food and beverage, and ecommerce
